Relocated and constructed a concrete plant for Long Island City–based concrete mixing company, DKN Ready Mix.
Project Highlights:
- Installed deep caisson piles for the new concrete plant
- Prepared a reinforced foundation system to withstand heavy industrial use from trucks and plant operations
- Constructed buildings and office spaces for plant operations
- Relocated the main concrete silo from the prior location and installed it at the new property

Cristom provided pre-construction and construction services for school improvements that needed to be completed on a tight schedule in time for the school year.
Project Highlights:
- Services included interior and exterior improvements, installing an air conditioning system to the building, and fire and life safety components.
- Specific areas improved include classrooms, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and an outdoor playground.
- Despite limited schedule flexibility, we were able to adapt to design changes and increasing scope after the initial start of the project, and still complete the entire project on time.

Full gut and renovation of administrative headquarters for a major produce distributor located in the bustling Hunt’s Point Produce Terminal.
Project Highlights:
- Job was done in two phases
- Rough and tumble environment/market, with lots of different uses and extremes (upstairs offices, downstairs cooler boxes)
- Worked around customers parameters
- Overcame a challenging environment to complete work on time with office still being functional
- Interior work consisting of office space, multiple conference rooms, multiple bathrooms and kitchens, hallways, reception and waiting areas.

Constructed a 17,000 sq. ft. shopping center with parking lot consisting of 47 parking spaces. The shopping center contains both retail and warehouse space with high ceilings.
Highlights:
- De-mapping of street before construction could begin
- Standard foundation system for most of the project
- Rear of the shopping center had to be constructed on piles due to soil conditions
- Installed pylon sign with mall directory.
- Shopping mall was finished with upscale look and furnishings appropriate to the surrounding community.
- Cristom also provided 8000 sq. ft. of tenant build outs.

- Managed the footing and foundation system installation for a digital flat-screen pylon sign
- Coordinated a continuous monolithic pour, requiring over 80 concrete trucks delivered within a 6-hour timeframe
